MY WEAKNESS. SWEET POTATO FRIES.

Huuh!

Whenever I’m having a busy week, I start to crave on things that are a bit more ”heavier” food such as Hamburger, Sweet potato fries or just a warm croissant! I know the best sweet potato fries are the ones which are called deep fried, but for me as I’m having a diet currently I can’t promise myself those right now.. (After this weekend photoshoots I am so ready to grab them!:D) So I wanted to try sweet potato fries at home using a bit more healthier and better quality ingredients.

YOU NEED:

  • 3 medium sweet potatoes
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3/4 teaspoon  salt
  • For extra spice I used ceylon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper

 

DO THIS:

  1. Slice the sweet potato as slight as you want.
  2. Rinse them with cold water and dry them in the paper.
  3. Mix the dry spices with each other. Put the daisies in a ”Minigrip” bag and add olive oil.
  4. Pour the spice mixture into a bag and shake it to make all the sticks get the spice on their sides.
  5. Pour the sticks on a baking sheet coated sheet.

And the secret of this recipe is you need to bake them in oven in a 225 degree  for 20 minutes. Turn them evert after 10 minutes. Keep in mind that baking time may vary depending on how large you cut your sweet potatoes and how accurate your oven is. 😉
