It’s been a while since my last post. Finding a balance between work, school and blogging is sometimes a bit tough however spring seems to finally be here. The sunlight and warming weather has really kept me upbeat the past two weeks. Spring is a real motivator I have to say!

Whilst my life has been quite busy lately I decided to indulge myself earlier this week. Now I’m really not one to get manicures or even go to extra lengths for my appearance but this week I decided to get my nails done. I’m probably one of the laziest people ever when it comes to taking care of my nails. I work in fashion so I do a lot with my hands so anything nice I try to do with my nails usually gets ruined after a few shifts.

Usually I just file my nails when ever I remember to and then add nail polish…aaand then forget about it. In 3 weeks I barely have any polish left and my nails look awful. When can I say – simply lazy with them – Ooops!

So this week I’ve been in Lappeenranta (home sweet home) and I decided to see my friend who does the most beautiful nails. The last time I visited her I got my nails done for my birthday- and that was a long time ago so it was definitely time to fix them up again!

When I do get my nails done I always go for a simple gel polish. This time I decided to go with a popular spring shade of light beige. I like simplicity and functionality when it comes to beauty. So a simple shade of light beige which easily goes with any outfit was perfect for me. Also a light beige freshens up your look. Natural colors are my favorite.
